Kashmir's very own ‘kashidakari’ which means ‘needle work’ is unique to Kashmir. It is said that this style of embroidery was brought to Kashmir by Sufi saints from Persia. Over centuries, this intricate art became an important part of Kashmir's culture. This type of surface embroidery then diversified into now-popular techniques such as ari, sozni, tilla, and dori work. We have carefully designed these bags taking into consideration the functionality and subtle aesthetics.
